If the time is not right for the divorce, Atty. Georgiana (“Gina”) LaFortune will talk to you about how to prepare for a divorce in the future in a way that is ethical and puts you in a better place when you are ready. It is important to remember that, if you are thinking about divorce, your spouse may be thinking about it, too. If a divorce complaint is filed in Court, often the legal process begins swiftly and unexpectedly. It is important to at least have be prepared with some knowledge of what could lie ahead of you.
